The Lost Industry- final series

Here it is, the final nine chosen images ready for submission tomorrow. The Lost Industry project will continue now until May.

The images were printed on A3 standard matt paper at around A4 size. I am happy with the slightly muted colours where the images still sit boldly on the paper.

SDA 3: final outcome

Today I collected my final prints for my colour and shape project. This was a study of how colour and shape make up photographs in the landscape, with a comparison between urban and rural. The final twelve images were printed on Fuji Chrystal Archive gloss paper at 12×16 (nearly A3 size). I chose to include a fairly thick white border to act as ‘breathing space’ for the eye as a full-bleed print would have been too intense at this size. I chose glossy paper as opposed to lustre because the gloss sheen helps to boost the vivid colours far better whereas lustre would flatten the colours and textures. I am very pleased with the colour reproduction and the final outcome!

SDA 2: the final outcome

This is the final print for my recent identity project. Printed on A1 Hahnemuhle fine art paper, made of cotton to give a feeling of authenticity and a nice warm hue with subtle rough texture. Very pleased!
